A 2002-03 Leadership Greater Rochester (LGR) graduate, Donna Lun is grateful for the networking opportunities and relationships developed through her LGR experience.
As a Realtor with RE/MAX of Rochester, Lun depends on networking and community connections on a daily basis at her workplace, and she credits her LGR experience in helping her further her career.
"The networking, then and now, helps me connect with people very quickly in the community," says Lun. "Networking is an integral part of the service I provide as a realtor."
In addition to the invaluable networking made possible by LGR, Lun also says the leadership program affected her in terms of her involvement in the community.
"Leadership Greater Rochester has not only opened the door to opportunities that allowed me to be more aware of what was happening in the community, but it has also served as a channel that invited me to participate in these opportunities," she says. "I am so much more involved in the community and in a variety of organizations since graduating from LGR."
But an equally important benefit of her LGR experience, says Lun, was meeting people through the class and the Chamber who have now become lifelong friends and clients.
Today, Lun continues to give back to the program by serving as an active member of the LGR Alumni Executive Committee and assisting in the planning of the program’s diversity/ethical challenge and global economy class sessions.
